Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to complete your new patient information sheet. To help us understand your current condition, you will be asked to complete basic information forms as well as standardized forms. You will then be seen by a registered health care professional who will provide a comprehensive evaluation of your injury or conditions and then educate you on their findings. Bring any relevant reports or test results (e.g. X-rays, ultrasound scan, MRI reports). After assessment, a treatment plan will be designed at the discretion of the health professional. Initial treatment will be provided and further course of treatments will be discussed.

No! In our office we have three types of care: relief care, corrective care and maintenance care. Pain usually subsides in the first 4-6 weeks. However, correcting the cause of a problem takes longer. You have the option of discontinuing care when the pain subsides. Once the pain has subsided you have the option to continue treatment to solve the root cause of your symptoms and participate in what we call maintenance care. How you choose to guide your treatment is completely up to you.

Studies support a growing role for the use of acupuncture in Western medical practices, with next to no side-effects from its use. Certified Therapists can incorporate acupuncture into their treatment sessions, with the following therapeutic goals:
- decrease pain
- promote tissue healing and regeneration
- restore optimal nerve and muscle function
Acupuncture can be incorporated into your physiotherapy treatment sessions.
With any soft tissue injury, the body responds with an attempt to heal itself. The inflammatory process that immediately ensues results in swelling, pain, scar tissue formation and adhesions, and muscular inhibition. If the correct treatment is not initiated promptly you may be left with chronic inflammation, muscular imbalances, adhesions, and the development of abnormal movement patterns. This can lengthen both treatment and recovery times.
It is always better to address problems earlier rather than later.
We accept Cash, Cheque, VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Debit. We provide direct billing to WSIB, Motor Vehicle Accident insurance companies and some extended health insurance companies (some insurance companies will require you to pay ahead and they will reimburse you later).
